Wonderful Wreaths and many holiday moments!

After Thanksgiving, the winter holidays begin! We do so many fun things in preparation for Santa.  We put on a program for the school and parents called a "Holiday Moosical", and we made our famous 3rd grade wreaths that are decorating the hallway so beautifully.  We even experienced what it was like to play with dreidels...we didn't have pennies but pattern blocks worked just as well. So much to be thankful for!

So it's been awhile since we've posted any blogs and we've done quite a bit.  Before we left for our Thanksgiving break we celebrated with a fantastic feast. Here are some pictures...not quite like the Pilgrims and Indians, but we had a good time.



Super Spellers!!!

Today was our in class spelling bee.  The contestants and the audience members were so excited to participate and cheer their classmates on.  Here are a few pictures of our contestants.....



We had sooo many brave kiddos participate, but unfortunately we could only have two winners per class.  Mrs. Davidson's winners are.....

Red Ribbon Week Oct. 25 - Oct. 29

This week was also Red Ribbon Week and we were proud to show that we are drug free!!! We tried our best to capture everyday...however Wednesday we worked so hard we forgot to capture our cowgirls and cowboys...Friday was so much fun that we got caught up in the festivities. 

America says "NO" to drugs so we wore red, white and blue!

We'll follow our dreams, and won't do drugs so we wore our PJ's!

On Friday, the kids declared Mrs. McKenzie the BEST teacher ever!!! They conducted a science experiment to decide if their "Goo Yuck" was a solid or a liquid.  However we can't decide if they had more fun discovering or getting dirty!! We think the pictures prove just how much they enjoyed the experiment.
